Shanghai belongs to the cities that never sleep. It also gained a widely acknowledged reputation for its bustling nightlife. In this video, you will see a typical nightlife center in central Shanghai, Xintiandi, along with its nightlife history. Xintiandi underwent refurbishment through an American architect Benjamin Wood︎︎︎. This traditional Shanghainese architecture style, Shikumen, was transformed into a commercial center to lick its modern imagination.
